Single Bat Box CNC | c2d | 2.80MB |
Straightforward design.
Designed for 24" x 24" 3/4 Plywood. You will need 10 x 2" wood screws, I like the coated deck screws. 3 x 1.5" deck screws, glue, a brad nailer (optional), screw gun, CNC machine
First, cut out the part on your CNC machine. You will need a .125" bit and a .25" bit.
Next, clean up the pre-drilled holes. Apply glue to the Spacers and then nail them in place with a brad to the backer board (grooved board). Apply more glue to the outer side of the spacers and apply the FACE (bat design) to it. Screw it together with the 2" screws. To align the spacers with the backer board, I use a long Allen key to align the holes.
Once the box is glued and screwed attach the roof.
Next, attach the Rear Top Hanger. The top hanger is designed so the roof will have some pitch to it once the Bat Box is connected to a Pole.
